Apple Harvest Festival 5K
The Annual Apple Harvest Festival also features a popular 5K race that takes place as part of the festival’s activities. The start and finish of the race will take place at the ball fields at Riverfront Park on Welles Street, Glastonbury. With the New England weather, this event often takes place in brisk temperatures and draws those looking for a competitive race and those just looking to get an early start on the Festival activities. What other race rewards their winners with fresh apple pies? T-shirts will be given to the first 150 runners who register for the 5K.
There will also be a new 1K Youth Race for ages 13 and under for those not quite ready to tackle the 5K but want more than the Kidz Fun Run. Water bottles will be given out to the first 100 people that register for the 1K or Kid'z Fun Run.
