The Chamber’s premier women’s event of the year, the Professional Women's Forum & Business Showcase, will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2012. This event draws over 125 women each year and gives sponsors a great opportunity to get out in front of professional women. Despite the success of the past events, we have decided to shake it up this year. The event will still feature plenty of time for women-2-women networking with the exhibitor booths and the sit-down luncheon, but instead of workshops all guest will enter the "Conversation Cafe" where we will address the How You Can Change Your Professional World by Being You.
What is the World Cafe Model?
The World Café is an innovative yet simple methodology for hosting conversations about questions that matter. These conversations link and build on each other as people move between groups, cross-pollinate ideas, and discover new insights into the questions or issues that are most important in their life, work, or community.
